Hello everybody,
how was Christmas? I hope you had a great time and you got a lot of presents. I really enjoyed the tome off business and playing with the kids around the Christmas tree. 🙂

Now back to the topic, over time I finished the development of a Ford GT40 Model in Max. The intention was to families my self with modelling in Max. Now with a finished Modell I transferred it to showcase and created a scene for the new calender page.

What a fun you can have with a Ford GT40 you can see in this little clip from Fifth Gear TV Motor-show from UK.

Interpretation of Boss Hoss, a real topic

Oh just jocking, close to the Christmas holidays, but atleast it needs to be explained. I know there are a lot of words that can cause misunderstanding, this one is a nice one I think. Let’s take the situation two persons are talking about the Boss Hoss and the BossHoss you see where the problem is?

A little example below:

The Boss Hoss (US):
I think most of my reades from US (aspecialy those that like bikes and motor-sports) know about the Boss Hoss, the real V8 Motorbike invented by Monte Warne .

bosshoss4.jpg BHC-3 LS2Engine
Type: Liquid Cooled V-8
Horsepower:425@5750 rpm
Torque: 425 Ft.Lbs. @ 4750 rpm

Cylinders: Aluminum (65cc)
Valve: train2.00″ Int./1.55″ Exh.
Size: 364 ci.i (6000cc)
Compression: 10.9:1
Fuel Injection: Multi-port
Exhaust: 2.5″ with daul mufflers
Transmission: 2-speed semi-auto w/rev.
Final: DriveBelt, Gates – Polychain

The BossHoss (Germany):
OK, OK, I know that we here in Germany also have a big Community around the original American Boss Hoss, but it also means Music, because we have here the band the BossHoss. This means both are cool (from my personal view). So there can be a little issue in the exchange and discussion when you talk about Boss Hoss. 🙂

Congratulations! Results of AU-certification quiz

I have to say it again „Congratulations!“

 _dsc0022.JPG winner.jpg _dsc0022.JPG

As soon as it begans it comes to the end. 🙂
To be honest, it actually started very slow, but then it catches up speeds like a race care! What I mean? The AU2008 certification quiz, I received over 1250 emails with right answers, but as you know only the first 6 senders with right answers and that didn’t attend AU2008 had a chance to win the 125$ voucher.

Befor I anounce the winners I want to say:

„Thank you, thank you very much, for your participation, to all of you!“

-And now, Ladies and Gentlemen here are the Winners of the AU2008 quiz:

  • Brent Daley

  • Carl Kidwell

  • Jamie Ditsworth

  • Michael Freiert

  • Steven Bachman

  • Tim Straz

The vouchers are on their way, so I assume they will arrive between Monday to Wednesday, -Oh, that means these are a kind of Christmas presents! It wasn’t intended to be, but still nice. 🙂

Again, big thank you for your participation and good luck to pass the exam successful!

Looking forward to receive your review,

Helge

Inventor Magazin 01-2009 Leseprobe

iv-magazin0109.jpg  Also viel Spaß beim lesen! 🙂
